1.General Description
Model 80PN Slush Pump is single-stage end sorption overhang type centrifugal pump, mainly used for transporting mud, ore slush, and other liquid containing suspended solid particles, especially suitable for drilling fluid preparing, changing tanks, mud purification and other drilling technologic procedures in oil field and drilling crews. This model product has the advantages of large displacement, small motor power, and reliable seal, etc, which is highly praised by users after promotion.

3.Product Structure and Features
The model pump consists of casing, vane, bracket, shaft, bearing, shaft seal, couping, motor and seat.
Vane, shaft, bearing, pump coupling and some other components compose rotor parts, which are installed in seat by bearing. The bracket is fixed on seat by bolt. The casing is installed on the top of bracket. The motor and pump are installed on the same seat.
Casing, vane and other fluid restriction components optimize water conservancy design, so water conservancy performance is improved and the partial early wearing is avoided. The special design of casing’s flow channel reduces the wearing of casing caused by suspended solid particles contained in the transporting liquid and extends the life span of casing.
The shaft seal uses associate vane and oil seal, which has very good seal effect. When the pump is operating, the associate vane plays the part of seal, which can achieve a good result without leaking. When the pump stops, oil seal plays the part of seal. Because the pump uses open oil seal, it can be conveniently changed without pump teardown.
4.Installation, Operation and Maintenance
The pump and its seat must be placed on a level foundation so that the shaft can be level state. The suction and discharge pipelines should reduce bends as far as possible and avoid sharp bends and “U” shape bends. The pipelines should be exempt from additional load and reliably sealed to avoid air intake and slush leaking, so that the pump can operate normally.
Check if any of the tight parts is loose before operating pump, and tighten them. Check if the bracket fuel tank is filled in lubricant and the oil level should be the line of oil pointer. Check the motor rotating direction that should be clockwise seen from the direction of suction inlet. If not, change the motor terminal to change the motor rotating direction.
Check the bearing temperature during the operation of pump.If it is too high, or the pump vibrates violently, or there is any abnormal noise, the pump should be stopped at once and find the reason. After solving the problem, the pump can be started again.
Regularly check the lubricant in the bracket. Replace the lubricant if it is found dirty or deteriorated. When change the lubricant, the old one should be cleaned and fill in new one after cleaning by kerosene.
Regularly fill in lubricant into shaft seal by oil cup until it is full. In winter if the pump is not operated for long period of time, the accumulating fluid should be discharged from the plug of pump bottom in order not to damage the pump due to liquid icing.
The motor should have reliable measures to ensure safety.
